VEVA EV chargers are smart, installer-friendly 7.4kW units for homes and workplaces, built around simple everyday charging rather than a long feature list. We stock 2 VEVA chargers: the 7.4kW untethered (£390) with a Type 2 socket, and the 7.4kW tethered (£410) with an 8m cable — one of the longest tethered cables on the market. Both include smart app control and integrated safety protection, both are OZEV approved, and both come with free UK delivery.

What VEVA EV chargers are available?
Two models, both 7.4kW single phase. The untethered charger (£390) has a Type 2 socket, so you use your own cable and the unit stays compact and clean on the wall. The tethered charger (£410) comes with an 8m Type 2 cable permanently attached. Both are smart chargers with app control for scheduling and monitoring, both have integrated safety protection built into the unit, and both are OZEV grant approved for home installations.
How much do VEVA EV chargers cost?
The VEVA untethered is £390 and the tethered £410, both including free UK delivery. That puts VEVA at the affordable end of the OZEV-approved market alongside the VCHRGD Seven Pro (£390), below the Indra Smart PRO (£435) and Pod Point Solo 3S (£465). Notably, the £20 gap between untethered and tethered is the smallest in our range — on most brands a tethered charger costs £50 to £80 more, so the VEVA tethered is unusually good value if you want a cable attached.
Why does the 8m cable matter?
Most tethered chargers ship with 5m, which assumes the car parks directly in front of the charger with the charging port on the near side. In practice, driveways are rarely that convenient — the port may be on the far side of the car, the parking space may be at an angle, or the only viable wall may be several metres from where the car sits. An 8m cable removes that constraint, and it is one of the longest available on a tethered unit at any price. If you have measured a 5m cable and it is marginal, this is the charger to look at.
Are VEVA chargers OZEV grant eligible?
Yes — both VEVA models are OZEV approved and eligible for the EV chargepoint grant, worth up to £350 off the cost of a home charger installation for eligible homeowners, tenants and landlords with off-street parking. Your OZEV-authorised installer claims it and deducts it from the bill. Given the £390 starting price, the grant covers a large share of a typical installed cost. See all OZEV approved chargers or read our 2026 grants guide.
Are VEVA chargers suitable for workplaces?
They work well for small workplace installations — a few bays for staff or visitors on a single-phase supply — where a full commercial charger would be more than the site needs. The cable-free untethered design in particular suits shared parking, since drivers bring their own cable and there is nothing on the unit to damage or walk off. For larger sites, three-phase supplies or anywhere you need RFID access control and per-user billing, look at our 22kW commercial EV chargers instead.
