What Zaptec EV chargers are available?

Three models. The Zaptec Go (£488) is the award-winning compact home charger, 7.4kW single phase, available in Asphalt Black, Rock Grey, Moss Green, Cloud White, Wood Brown and Midnight Blue. The Zaptec Go 2 (£660) is the newer generation of the same idea, with a socketed Type 2 design, built-in Wi-Fi and 4G and app scheduling. The Zaptec Pro (£880) steps up to 22kW three-phase with intelligent load balancing, built for workplaces, commercial car parks and sites running several chargers on one supply. All three are untethered.

How much do Zaptec EV chargers cost?

The Zaptec Go is £488, the Go 2 £660 and the Pro 22kW £880, all including free UK delivery. The Go sits alongside the Easee One (£482) and Ohme ePod (£496) in the middle of the home charger market, and with the OZEV grant applied an eligible household can take up to £350 off the installed cost. The Pro at £880 is competitively placed for a 22kW commercial unit with proper load balancing — compare it against the full 22kW commercial range.

What is the difference between the Zaptec Go and Go 2?

Both are 7.4kW untethered home chargers in the same compact Scandinavian format. The Go is the original and the better value at £488, with the widest choice of colours — six finishes including wood brown and moss green, which is unusual at this price. The Go 2 (£660) is the newer hardware generation, with updated connectivity and app experience. If colour choice and price matter most, the Go still does the job; if you want the current model with the latest platform behind it, the Go 2 is the one.

Is the Zaptec Pro suitable for multiple chargers on one site?

Yes — this is what the Pro is designed for. Intelligent load balancing shares the available supply capacity between connected chargers, so a car park can run several units without each needing its own dedicated headroom. That is usually what determines whether a site can expand without an expensive supply upgrade. Are Zaptec chargers OZEV grant eligible?

Yes — the Zaptec Go, Go 2 and Pro are all OZEV approved and eligible for the UK government EV chargepoint grant, worth up to £350 off a home charger installation for eligible homeowners, tenants and landlords with off-street parking. Do Zaptec chargers work without home broadband?

Yes — all three models have 4G built in alongside Wi-Fi, so the charger stays connected even where the house signal does not reach. This matters more than people expect: chargers are usually fitted at the far end of a driveway, on a detached garage or in an underground car park, and a Wi-Fi-only unit that drops offline loses scheduling, tariff integration and remote monitoring until someone goes out and reconnects it.
