How much do NexBlue EV chargers cost?
NexBlue prices start at £485 for the Point 2 7.4kW untethered home charger, £560 for the tethered version, £599 for the Edge 22kW and £715 for the Delta Max 22kW with MID metering, all including free UK delivery. The Point 2 sits in the middle of the home charger market alongside the Ohme ePod (£496) and Easee One (£482), while the Edge at £599 is one of the more affordable routes into 22kW three-phase charging. What is the difference between the Edge and the Delta Max?
Both are 22kW three-phase untethered commercial chargers. The Edge (£599) covers workplaces, shared parking and fleet bays where charging is provided free at the point of use and you only need to monitor consumption. The Delta Max (£715) adds MID-certified metering, which is what makes billing drivers by the kWh legally compliant in the UK — so it is the one to specify for tenant recharging, staff reimbursement or any pay-per-use arrangement. If money is going to change hands based on the readings, pay the extra £116 for the Delta Max. Note that the Delta Max is not on either smart tariff list, which rarely matters on a commercial site.
Do NexBlue chargers work with OVO and Octopus tariffs?
It depends on the model, so check before you buy. Intelligent Octopus Go supports the NexBlue Point, Point 2 and the 22kW Edge — so both home models and the Edge can be controlled directly by Octopus. OVO Charge Anytime lists the NexBlue Point and the Edge, but not the Point 2, so OVO customers buying a home charger should confirm with OVO first or choose from the chargers OVO does list. The Delta Max does not appear on either list. Every NexBlue charger supports manual scheduling in the app on any time-of-use tariff regardless.
Can a NexBlue charger be mounted on a post?
Yes — we stock dedicated e.Park NexBlue posts, cut and drilled specifically for NexBlue units so the charger lines up correctly first time. The single post is £310, and the back-to-back post at £355 carries a charger on each face to serve two bays from one installation and one set of groundworks.
