What Teltonika EV chargers are available?
Teltonika Energy makes two EV charger models and we stock all three configurations. The EVC1, also known as the TeltoCharge, is the 7.4kW single-phase home charger — available untethered with a Type 2 socket at £440, or tethered with a permanently attached 5 metre cable at £490. The EVC2 is the 22kW three-phase step up at £690, built for workplaces, commercial sites and homes with a three-phase supply. All three share the same design language and interchangeable front panel system, so a site can mix home and commercial units and still look consistent.
How much do Teltonika EV chargers cost?
Teltonika prices start at £440 for the EVC1 7.4kW untethered, £490 for the EVC1 7.4kW tethered with a 5m cable, and £690 for the EVC2 22kW three-phase. All prices include free UK delivery. That puts the EVC1 in the competitive middle of the UK home charger market — above budget units like the VCHRGD Seven Pro but below premium design brands such as Andersen — while offering connectivity and load management usually found on more expensive commercial hardware. The EVC2 at £690 is strong value for a 22kW charger with built-in 4G and sub-1% metering.
What is the difference between the Teltonika EVC1 and EVC2?
The EVC1 is a 7.4kW single-phase charger for standard UK homes, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet connectivity, OCPP 1.6, NFC card access and a built-in energy meter. The EVC2 is the 22kW three-phase version and adds three things that matter commercially: built-in 4G LTE so the charger stays online in car parks and yards where Wi-Fi never reaches, an internal energy meter accurate to better than 1% for billing, and a choice of rear or bottom cable entry. The EVC2 is also rated IP56 against the EVC1's IP55, and its 36-month warranty can be extended to 60 months.
Can you change the colour of a Teltonika EV charger?
Yes — the interchangeable front panel is the feature that sets Teltonika apart from the usual white plastic box. Panels are available in four colours plus treated Kebony wood, and they can be swapped after installation rather than being fixed at the point of order. For homeowners who dislike how a charger looks on the front of the house, the wood finish is usually the thing that changes their mind; on commercial sites the coloured panels let a charge point match site branding. Do Teltonika chargers work with solar panels and smart tariffs?
Yes — both the EVC1 and EVC2 are solar compatible and support scheduled charging through the Teltonika app, so you can run charging in your cheapest off-peak window on a smart tariff. Both models include static and dynamic load management with phase balancing, which spreads the load across available phases and adjusts the charging current so the main fuse is never overloaded. What warranty and weather rating do Teltonika chargers have?
Every Teltonika EV charger comes with a 36-month warranty as standard, and the EVC2 can be extended to 60 months. The EVC1 is rated IP55 and IK10, the EVC2 IP56 and IK10, and both operate from -30°C to 50°C — comfortably beyond anything a British winter will produce. PEN fault protection is integrated into both units, so no separate earth rod is needed in most installations, and 30mA AC plus 6mA DC residual current monitoring is built in.
