What Andersen EV charger models are available?
Andersen offers three EV charger ranges. The Andersen A2 is the flagship model — available in 7kW (home) and 22kW (commercial) with the widest range of real material finishes, hidden cable storage and full customisation options, from £1,180. The Andersen A3 is a 7kW tethered charger with a 5m cable that shares the same premium design language at a more accessible price, from £965. The Andersen Quartz is the most popular model — available in 7kW and 22kW, tethered or untethered, in a sleek compact design from just £680 for the 7kW untethered. All three ranges come in over 100 colour and finish combinations including real wood panels, brushed metal and a full RAL colour palette.
What is the difference between the Andersen A2 and Andersen Quartz?
The Andersen A2 is the premium model with the widest choice of real material finishes — including oak, dark stained wood and brushed metal panels — plus hidden integrated cable storage that keeps the charging cable neatly concealed when not in use. The A2 is available in both 7kW and 22kW. The Andersen Quartz offers the same reliable Andersen smart charging technology in a more compact wall-mounted unit at a lower price point, starting from £680 for the 7kW untethered version compared to £1,180 for the A2. If design customisation and hidden cable storage are priorities, the A2 is the choice. If you want premium UK-made quality at a better price, the Quartz delivers.
Are Andersen EV chargers OZEV grant eligible?
Yes — all Andersen EV chargers are OZEV approved and eligible for the UK government EV chargepoint grant, which provides up to £350 off the cost of a home charger installation for homeowners and tenants with off-street parking. The grant is claimed by your installer at the point of installation, so you pay the reduced price upfront. Andersen chargers are also eligible for the WCS (Workplace Charging Scheme) grant for businesses. Read our full guide to OZEV grants and EV charger funding in 2026.
Where are Andersen EV chargers made?
Andersen EV chargers are designed and manufactured in the UK. They are one of the few EV charger brands that offer genuine real material finishes — not just colour options but actual wood, metal and custom panels that are made to order. Each charger is assembled in their UK facility. Andersen's focus on design and British manufacturing makes them a popular choice for homeowners who want their charger to complement the exterior of their property rather than looking like a plain white box on the wall.
How do I choose the right Andersen charger?
For most homes, the Andersen Quartz 7kW is the best starting point — it is smart-enabled, OZEV approved and available tethered (with a cable permanently attached) or untethered (you plug in your own cable) from £680. If you want the premium experience with hidden cable storage and the widest range of real material finishes, step up to the Andersen A2. For 22kW three-phase charging at commercial or workplace sites, the A2 22kW and Quartz 22kW are both available. Not sure which charger is right for you?
