No Longer Required
We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. What's included in the pack?

1m of 25mm² 6181Y brown, 1m of 25mm² 6181Y blue and 1m of 16mm² 6491X green/yellow earth.

Is 1m long enough?

It suits short runs between the meter, isolator and consumer unit. Longer runs need a longer tails pack.

What's the difference between 6181Y and 6491X?

6181Y is double insulated, with an insulated core inside an outer sheath. 6491X is a single-insulated conductor, used here for the earth.

Do I need meter tails for an EV charger install?

Usually, where the charger is fed from its own EV consumer unit connected to the supply through terminal blocks. The tails connect the unit to the blocks.

Can I fit meter tails myself?

No. Meter tails must be installed by a qualified electrician, and work at the meter or cut-out may need the DNO or energy supplier.
