We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. Summary

The Andersen Quartz 22kW Untethered is the three-phase version of Andersen's flagship charge point, for homes and workplaces that have a three-phase supply. Most UK houses are single phase, so check before ordering - without three phase this unit cannot deliver 22kW.

It is untethered, so you bring your own Type 2 cable and keep the driveway clear. Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet give app control and scheduling, dynamic load management protects the supply, and the IP65 housing is rated for outdoor use. Fifteen finishes including real wood, with a 7-year warranty.

Do I need a three-phase supply for this charger?

Yes. 22kW charging needs a three-phase electricity supply, which most UK homes do not have. Check your meter or ask your installer before ordering. On a standard single-phase supply this unit cannot deliver 22kW, and that is by far the most common reason 22kW chargers get sent back.

Will my car actually charge at 22kW?

Only if it has a 22kW onboard AC charger, and most EVs do not. Many are limited to 7.4kW or 11kW on AC, in which case that is the speed you will get. Check your car's onboard AC figure before paying for 22kW.

Does this charger come with a cable?

No. It is untethered, so it has a Type 2 socket rather than a fixed cable. You use the portable cable supplied with your car or buy one separately, and for 22kW it must be a three-phase rated cable.

Can I use it with Intelligent Octopus Go?

No. Andersen's smart tariff integrations, including Intelligent Octopus Go and OVO Charge Anytime, cover the 7kW models rather than the 22kW units. You can still schedule charging in the Andersen app to run during off-peak hours on any tariff.

Can I get a grant towards it?

The OZEV EV Chargepoint Grant gives up to 350 pounds off for people living in flats or in rented homes with off-street parking, claimed through an OZEV-authorised installer. Businesses installing at work apply under the separate Workplace Charging Scheme instead.

What warranty does it come with?

Andersen cover all their charge points with a 7-year warranty, one of the longest in the UK market. Registering the charger after installation activates it.
