We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. Does this charger come with a cable?

No. The Quartz is untethered, which means it has a Type 2 socket rather than a fixed cable. You use the portable Type 2 cable supplied with your car, or buy one separately.

How fast will it charge my car?

At 7kW it adds roughly 25 to 30 miles of range per hour on most EVs. Your car's onboard AC charger sets the real limit, so a vehicle capped at 3.6kW will charge at that speed no matter which unit is fitted.

Which smart tariffs does it work with?

The Andersen Quartz works with Intelligent Octopus Go and OVO Charge Anytime, so charging can be shifted automatically to cheap off-peak overnight rates.

Does it need Wi-Fi?

It connects by Wi-Fi or by wired Ethernet, so a weak signal at the driveway is not a problem. Smart features such as scheduling, app control and tariff integration need an internet connection to work.

What warranty does the Andersen Quartz come with?

Andersen cover all their charge points with a 7-year warranty, which is one of the longest in the UK market. Registering the charger after installation activates it.

Can I get a grant towards it?

The OZEV EV Chargepoint Grant gives up to 350 pounds off for people living in flats or rented homes with off-street parking. You must use an OZEV-authorised installer and claim through them.
