We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. What electrical supply and groundworks does it need?

It runs from a 400V three-phase AC supply, so it needs a dedicated commercial circuit rather than a domestic feed. Many sites also need a DNO application or a supply upgrade, and the pedestal version needs a 600 by 600 by 450mm KUBE foundation cast in place. We recommend a site survey before you order.

How quickly does 30kW actually charge a car?

At full output it delivers around 30kWh in an hour, roughly 100 miles of range for a typical EV and several times faster than a 7kW AC unit. Real speed depends on the vehicle, its state of charge, battery temperature and how the car tapers its charging near the top of the pack.

Which connectors does it have?

A single CCS2 gun, which is the DC standard on almost every modern EV sold in the UK. There is no CHAdeMO connector, so CHAdeMO-only vehicles such as the older Nissan Leaf cannot use this unit.

Can drivers pay at the charger?

Driver access is controlled by RFID card as standard, with a 7 inch touchscreen for the user interface. Because it speaks OCPP 1.6 over 4G, Ethernet or Wi-Fi you can connect it to the back office of your choice for tariffs, app payment and reporting. If you specifically need a contactless bank card reader on the unit, ask us to confirm before ordering.

Does it qualify for the Workplace Charging Scheme grant?

The Workplace Charging Scheme covers 75% of purchase and installation costs, capped at 500 pounds per socket and 40 sockets per applicant, and currently runs to 31 March 2027. A DC rapid unit costs far more than that cap, so the grant only ever offsets a small part of the total. Eligibility and voucher rules are set by OZEV, so check your position before ordering.

What is included and how is it installed?

Every unit includes a 3 year warranty with an ENVEVO Bronze level SLA, a 3 year 4G roaming SIM at 100MB per month, pre-commissioning and delivery. The pedestal version also includes the floor-mounted pedestal and KUBE foundation. Installation must be carried out by a qualified commercial EV installer.
