We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. Will a 22kW cable work on my 7kW home charger?

Yes. The cable simply carries whatever the charge point and your car agree on, so on a 7kW single-phase wallbox it charges at 7kW. A 22kW cable will not speed up a 7kW charger, but it does mean you are ready if you later use three-phase points.

What is the difference between a 7kW and a 22kW cable?

A 7kW cable is single phase at 32A and matches the wallboxes fitted to most UK homes. A 22kW cable is three phase and only delivers its full rate where a three-phase supply or charge point is available, which usually means workplaces, depots and public chargers.

Will this cable fit my car?

It is Type 2 at both ends, the standard charging connector on modern EVs sold in the UK, so check your car has a Type 2 inlet before ordering. Note that a car with a 7kW onboard charger cannot draw 22kW even from a three-phase point.

What length should I choose?

Measure from the charge point to your car's socket and allow some slack. 5m suits a charge point right beside the bay, while 7.5m, 10m and 15m give extra reach for longer driveways, awkward parking or shared bays where the post is not close to the charge port.
