We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. What does the Easee Equalizer actually do?

It measures how much current the whole property is drawing at the main incoming supply and sends that reading to the Easee charger. The charger then reduces its own charging current so the combined load stays within the main fuse rating.

Why would I need one?

Without it the charger cannot see what the rest of the building is using, so it has to be set to a fixed conservative current or risk tripping the main fuse. With the Equalizer fitted the charger can use whatever capacity happens to be spare.

Which chargers need one?

It is used with Easee Charge and Easee Charge Pro units, typically where the incoming supply cannot comfortably carry the charger at full output alongside the building's existing load.

Is this the single or three phase version?

This is the 100A single phase version, part number 90500UK. A three phase supply needs the three phase version instead.

Who should install it?

It connects at the main incoming supply, so it must be installed by a qualified electrician, normally at the same visit as the charger.
