We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. Summary

The Easee 10243 is the three-phase version of Easee Charge, delivering up to 22kW at 32A. It has an untethered Type 2 socket, so drivers bring their own cable and any EV can use it. On a single-phase supply the same unit runs at up to 7.4kW.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 4G eSIM are built in, and dynamic load and phase balancing lets you add more units on one supply. The front cover is interchangeable in five colours. IP54 and IK10 rated, 3 year warranty.

Will this work on a normal home supply?

Yes, but you only get the full 22kW from a three-phase supply, which most UK homes do not have. On a standard single-phase domestic supply the same unit charges at up to 7.4kW, which is the usual home charging speed. Most 22kW installations are workplaces, apartment blocks and commercial sites.

Is it tethered or untethered?

It is untethered, with a Type 2 socket rather than a fixed cable. Drivers plug in their own cable, which keeps the unit compact, lets any Type 2 EV use it and makes it far more practical on shared or public-facing sites.

How does it handle several chargers on one supply?

It supports dynamic load and phase balancing, so multiple Easee units share the available capacity between them rather than each drawing full current. That lets you add chargers to a site without upgrading the incoming supply.

Does it work with smart tariffs such as Intelligent Octopus Go or OVO Charge Anytime?

It supports scheduled and off-peak charging through the Easee app, so it works with time-of-use tariffs using its own scheduling. Easee advise that Intelligent Octopus Go and the OVO Charge Anytime add-on are not fully supported on Easee chargers, so do not buy it expecting one of those integrations.

What is the difference between this and the Charge Pro?

Both charge at up to 22kW. The Charge Pro adds a MID-certified energy meter for accurate billing, wired Ethernet alongside Wi-Fi and 4G, OCPP 1.6J for back-office systems and a 5 year warranty. Choose this 10243 where you do not need to bill for the energy used.

What does installation involve?

It must be installed by a qualified electrician on a dedicated circuit. Earth fault (RCD) protection and overload protection are built into the unit. It is wall mounted and rated IP54 and IK10, so indoor or outdoor mounting is fine, and Easee mounting posts are available where there is no suitable wall.
