We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. Summary

The Evec EDP01 charges two vehicles at once from a single free-standing pedestal, giving each socket up to 7.4kW from an ordinary single-phase supply, so you can serve two bays without a three-phase upgrade. Output is adjustable from 3.7kW to 7.4kW per socket.

How many vehicles can the Evec EDP01 charge at once?

Two. It has two Type 2 sockets that are live at the same time, so one pedestal on one supply serves two bays. If you only need one bay, the single socket ESP01 is the equivalent 7.4kW unit.

Do I need a three-phase supply?

No. The EDP01 runs on a standard single-phase supply and gives up to 7.4kW per socket, which is what makes it the cheaper option to install. If you want 22kW per socket you would need the three-phase EDP02-N instead. Either way the pedestal is ground fixed, so allow for a base and a cable route at design stage.

How fast is 7.4kW charging?

Roughly 25 to 30 miles of range per hour, which suits workplaces, apartment blocks and long-stay parking where cars sit for several hours. Most EVs accept 7.4kW on AC, so very few vehicles are held back by it.

Is a charging cable included?

No. Both sockets are untethered, so drivers use their own Type 2 cable. That is normal on shared and commercial sites because it suits every vehicle and leaves no cable out in the weather.

Can I control who uses it and charge them for it?

Yes. The EDP01 is OCPP 1.6J compliant and comes with Monta set as the default back office, so you can run it as plug and charge for staff or as pay-to-charge for visitors, and monitor usage and load through the app.

Can I claim a grant towards it?

Businesses, charities and public sector organisations can apply to the Workplace Charging Scheme, which covers up to 75% of purchase and installation costs, capped at 500 pounds per socket and 40 sockets per applicant. A dual socket unit counts as two sockets, and funding is confirmed to 31 March 2027.
