We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. We completely understand that mistakes happen! If you’ve ordered the wrong product, we’re here to help. Is the charger included in this kit?

Yes. This bundle includes the NexBlue Point 2 7.4kW untethered charge point along with the consumer unit, cable, tails, glands, terminal blocks and clips. Our standard EV Installation Kit is the same set of parts without a charger.

Do I need a charging cable?

Yes. The Point 2 in this kit is untethered, with a Type 2 socket, so you use your own portable Type 2 cable - usually the one supplied with the car. If you would rather the cable stayed on the wall, the tethered Point 2 has a 7.5m lead.

Is a CT clamp included?

Yes. NexBlue supplies a hard-wired CT clamp with the Point 2. It is what enables dynamic load balancing and solar surplus charging, and should be fitted by your installer.

Which supply cable length should I order?

Measure the actual cable route from the consumer unit to the charger position, including drops and corners, rather than the straight-line distance, and round up. It is far better to have a little spare than to be short on the day.

Can I buy the parts individually instead?

Yes. Every item in the kit is stocked separately, including the NexBlue Point 2 itself. The bundle simply groups the usual combination and saves placing several orders.

Does it include an installation service?

No. The kit is physical parts only. EV charger installations must comply with the current IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671, and applicable UK building and electrical safety standards, and should be carried out by a qualified and competent electrician.
