We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. Is the charger included in this kit?

Yes. This bundle includes the Ohme ePod 7.4kW untethered charge point along with the consumer unit, cable, tails, glands, terminal blocks and clips. Our standard EV Installation Kit is the same set of parts without a charger.

Does it come with a charging cable for the car?

No. The ePod is untethered, meaning it has a socket rather than a fixed cable, so you plug in your own Type 2 cable. If you do not already have one, add it from our charging cables range.

Should I choose the ePod or the Home Pro kit?

The ePod is untethered and compact, with nothing left hanging on the wall between charges, and suits anyone who already has a Type 2 cable. The Home Pro kit is tethered, with a 5m or 8m cable permanently attached, which is more convenient day to day but a larger unit.

Which supply cable length should I order?

The 5m, 10m and 15m options refer to the run of EV Ultra cable from the consumer unit to the charger position. Measure the actual route, including drops and corners, rather than the straight-line distance, and round up.

Can I buy the parts individually instead?

Yes. Every item in the kit is stocked separately, including the Ohme ePod itself. The bundle simply groups the usual combination and saves placing several orders.

Does it include an installation service?

No. The kit is physical parts only. EV charger installations must comply with the current IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671, and applicable UK building and electrical safety standards, and should be carried out by a qualified and competent electrician.
