We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. Is a Type 2 cable included?

No. The Go 2 is socketed, so you plug in the cable that came with your car. Nothing is left hanging on the wall between charges and the charger suits whatever you drive next.

What does the Go 2 improve on the original Go?

It is the newer generation and it is V2G capable, meaning it is built ready for vehicle-to-grid energy integration rather than one-way charging only. Connectivity is Wi-Fi plus 4G. If V2G readiness does not matter to you, the original Go is still on sale and costs less.

What is V2G and can I use it now?

Vehicle-to-grid lets a suitable car export stored energy back rather than only drawing it. The Go 2 is described as V2G capable, but using it needs a car and an energy supplier tariff that support V2G, so treat it as future-proofing rather than a feature you can switch on today.

Do I need good Wi-Fi at the parking space?

Not necessarily. The Go 2 has 4G as well as Wi-Fi, so it can reach the Zaptec cloud even where the house router does not stretch to the driveway or garage.

How quickly will it charge?

Up to 7.4kW on a single-phase supply, around 25 to 30 miles of range an hour. If your car's onboard AC charger is rated lower, that figure is what limits the session, not the charge point.

Can I claim the OZEV grant on it?

Only if you live in a flat or a rented property with off-street parking, which is where the EV Chargepoint Grant now applies. Owner-occupied houses are outside the scheme, and any claim goes through an OZEV-authorised installer.
