No Longer Required
We’re happy to accept returns on unwanted items with a 25% restocking fee. Just make sure they’re in like-new condition, unused, and still in the original packaging, ready for resale. The buyer covers the return shipping, and returns should be made within 14 days of delivery. Please note that some specially imported or custom-made items can’t be returned. Does the Pro need a three-phase supply?

For its full 22kW, yes. Three phase is normal at workplaces, apartment blocks and commercial premises but unusual at UK homes, so check what comes into the building before specifying it. A single-phase property is better served by a 7.4kW unit such as the Zaptec Go 2.

How does it share power between several chargers?

Dynamic load and phase balancing let a group of Zaptec Pro units divide whatever capacity the site has, giving more to cars that are plugged in and pulling back when demand rises elsewhere. That is what makes it the choice for multi-charger installations.

Is a cable supplied with it?

No. It has a Type 2 socket, so every driver brings their own cable. On a shared or public bay this is the practical arrangement, since a fixed lead would exclude some vehicles and gets damaged far more often.

Can I recover the cost of the electricity used?

The energy meter is MID Class B certified, so session readings meet the accuracy standard used for billing. Tariffs, invoicing and driver accounts are handled by the back-office platform connected to the charger.

How are multiple units managed day to day?

Through the Zaptec Portal, which gives central control and monitoring across a site, and the Zaptec app for individual users. Wi-Fi, 4G LTE-M and Ethernet mean at least one connection route is usually available underground or outdoors.

What is the warranty?

Five years on the Zaptec Pro, which is a useful margin on a commercial installation where replacing a unit means disrupting a working car park.
